Your celebration is unique – it is to be your time – full of special memories for you, your family and friends. There is nothing more important than to have your occasion reflect your desires and wishes. My role as your chosen Celebrant is to bring your ideas and thoughts to reality, creating the ceremony you are looking for.
To gain authorisation as a Marriage Celebrant, I completed the required training (as per the Attorney-General’s Department), and have also undertaken training for Funeral Services, Renewal of Vows, Life Commitments and the other services I offer. I am very proud to be an authorised Marriage Celebrant and a Celebrant for other forms of celebration.
I hold a Diploma in Management & Leadership and have been an authorised Justice of the Peace since 2004. I am also continuing with study in a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History at the University of Wollongong.
For many years I worked in a University environment as an administrative officer supporting postgraduate students and writing and maintaining policies and procedures for a Faculty. Through this, I worked with many overseas and local students and have enjoyed many special moments with them. As a volunteer over many years, I have served on committees for schools and sport clubs, and most recently for a disability group and a returned veterans group of World War II.
In addition to this, I was also fortunate to have experienced the world of weddings, by assisting my mother in making wedding gowns, bridal veils and gowns for other members of the bridal party.
To support my work as a Celebrant I am a member of several associations:
- The Celebrants Network Inc
- Australian Federation Civil Celebrants
- Funeral Celebrants Association Australia (FCAA)
I feel very privileged to have this experience and background, and even more rewarded to be able to help you with arranging your celebrations.
